A hit-and-run incident in downtown Salt Lake City has left a bicyclist stunned but not seriously hurt -- and police were on the lookout for the driver, who sped away from the scene.
The accident happened about 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of 400 South and 300 West. A southbound sedan turned east and struck a man on a bicycle, said Salt Lake City police Officer David Malley.
The bicyclist was treated at the scene and released. Malley said the driver got out of his vehicle, looked at the bicyclist briefly and then sped away. Police later found the car parked at a home but were still trying to find the driver.
